Season 2010 ranking

The “Season 2010 Ranking” table tracks the cumulative performance and attendance of each athletes of the Schiniathlon, for all 2010 events : Winter tri & dua, Spring tri, Summer Astroman, Summer Aquathlon, Autumn tri.

The following rules apply for the “Points System”:

At the table bellow, you can take a look at the top 50 of the 2010 season. Full list, available in excel format, [here]

1- The Winner of the event gains 160 Points
2- The following athletes lose a % of the winner's points, corresponding to the % slower they were [ie: if you are 10% slower than the winner, you lose 10% of his points, so you get : 160-(16) = 144 points ]
3- Athletes taking part at TWO events over the same w-end get their best points + 50 Points Bonus [see: "Dual Participations" tab on the XLS tables]
4- Athletes of the Long Distance get a 20 Points Bonus
5- Athletes of the 1/2 Iron Distance get a 50 Points Bonus
6- Athletes of the summer Aquathlon get half points (the winner gets 80 Points and down)
7- Athletes with a DNF (did not finish) get 10 Points
8- The minimum number of points athletes get is 10 Points
9- Athletes who participate at more than 1 week-end of events in the year get a 5 points Bonus
