Spring Schiniathlon to be held on 4th of May 2008

Alloha fellow athletes –

Schiniathlon is happy to inform you of our next event, to be held on Sunday 4th of May 2008!!

For its 1st Birthday, the Spring Schiniathlon will offer you the “Surprise du Chef” : there will be a SPINT distance AND an OLYMPIC distance event!!  See below the details :

SUNDAY 04th MAY 2008 – SCHINIATHLON : 2 EVENTS !!
Olympic Distance :                 1500m Swim (sea) - 40km Bike (asphalt) - 10km Run (forest)
Athletes’ check-in time :        from 08:30am
Race Briefing :                       09:15am
Race Start :                            09:30 sharp!

Sprint Distance :                     750m Swim (sea) - 20km Bike (asphalt) - 5km Run (forest)
Athletes’ check-in time :        from 08:30am
Race Briefing :                       10:15am
Race Start :                            10:30am sharp !

The “Registration” section is now open on our website, so you can secure your participation at the race.

SURPRISE: IF YOU REGISTER BEFORE 3rd of April 2008, YOUR NAME WILL BE ON THE T-SHIRT OF THE EVENT!

After the race, we will have our traditional little prize ceremony and there will be, of course, lots of food and drinks for you to refresh and replenish.

There is a 10€ participation fee. It applies for participations to any of the two events.

We hope to see as many registrations as possible!

You will get familiar with this reminder by now: the quality of the race LARGELY depends on the number of volunteers we can federate, in order to ensure: traffic regulation, water station, time keeping…
