26/10/2007 News: Aloha fellow athletes, We have been very surprised, at the 1st and 2nd Editions of the Schiniathlon, to see the incredible interest, among first timers and confirmed athletes, into the event. We were also surprised to see your involvement in the sport, your interest and will to go for more. Schiniathlon is a pure “fun-race” for amateur, new-comers, and a totally “not-competitive” race. All of you are here for a fun & good friendly day are on the starting line of our event! Now: for those of you who wish to take the sport further and push yourself to harder and further limits, we propose to train together over the next 6 months, organise ourselfs as a micro-network - and ultimately go together to the 24th May Iron70.3 in Austria. The event consists of : 1.9k Swim, 90k Cycle, 21.1k Run Already 20 of you have expressed their interest into training together to go and make it to the starting line of the Iron70.3 in Austria on 24th May 2008. More of you should take up the challenge: it’s all for fun and we are all able! We propose to meet at the Moraitis Resort on Saturday 03rd November, at 1:30pm Everybody is welcome, wether you are sure or not about your interest in the project, your presence might make you change your mind!
