23/08/2007 News: Alloha Fellow Athletes, First of all, a big thank you to all of you who have already registered on-line. In the 15 days since the registrations are open, we have already received 60 applications ! We are delighted that you are willing to take up the challenge, and that most of the May 2007 participants are coming back again for a second serving. It’s up to all of us now to make sure 22nd September will be as memorable as 12th May !! In the meantime, we urge everybody else to register as soon as possible : the maximum number of entries has been set as 100, so you better secure your place before it gets too late. Special message for the ladies : the proportion of women taking up the challenge is still very low, below 5% of all entrants… There is no reason for it ! All of you guys who have registered, take your girlfriends with you, your sisters, your wives to the event ! Anybody can do it, not all of us have to sprint, there is a pace for each one of us – it’s fun overall… really ! Thanks to all of us, and get the word around : registrations need to be done quickly !
