BIKE RACE = Laps of 20km on tarmac. Elevation of 120m per lap – 1 lap for sprint distance, or 2 laps for endurance distance challenge.

Map of lap 1.
Sprint distance will do only this lap. Total ascent = 120m. Follow the numbers starting from "0" at Moraitis, till "10" at the "lap selection" junction. At this point the athletes of the Sprint distance turn right and head back to the finish, while the athletes of the long distance turn left and go for the second loop (next map). Marshals will be supervising and monitoring the athletes in all turns, junctions and U-Turns. BIB numbers will be checked at all U-Turns.

Map of Lap 2
Athletes of the long distance, will go for a second loop. Total ascent for the two laps = 240m. The selection point as mentioned before is at "10" of the previous map, or "11" of the next map. From that point on, they follow the same route as with the first lap. As indicated on the map below, they follow the route from "11" to "18" and then towards the finish line for the cycling event, at Moraitis (indicated below as "19"). Marshals will be supervising and monitoring all athletes and their BIBs at all u-turns and junctions (points denoted as "12", "14", "18").

RUN RACE = 5km – In the pine tree forest, by the sea. No elevation. 80% on dirt, 20% on tarmac. For the long distance event (10km) athletes do it twice. There is a check-control point at the end of the route in the forest (denoted as "turning point" on the map below), and one more check-control point at the entrance of the car park (denoted as "turning point for loop #2 on the map) to control the athletes of the long distance that have to go for the second loop. In both check points the marshals are writing down the BIB of the passing athletes.

Water stations every 2.5km.
